The Crew

I drew this for the birthday of my favorite carapace artist, Shad, on tumblr. I squealed when Shad liked it!

Anyone who has been to Shad's homestuck tumblr might recognize the poses from the sprites in the header, eheh. It was an accident at first, but after I drew Slick and Droog, I noticed the similarities and decided to do the same for Deuce and Boxcars.

I love drawing with the binary pen, btw. And this was the first time I've tried doing this odd sort of silhouette style, only putting highlights on small details. Mostly an experiment.
